About Dr Carly

Wherever you are on your journey to optimal health I am honoured to guide, support and hold space for you authentically in a truly inclusive, non-judgemental and trauma informed gentle manner with nutrition and lifestyle approaches to your health.

My work is eclectically inspired by (but not limited to) the integration of ancestral and naturopathic nutrition, conscious consideration of current scientific research and nature connection/ecotherapy. My wish for you is to be able to live a balanced life full of joy, energy, vitality and purpose!

My grandmother was the village 'Wise Woman' in the village where she lived in England; she was the one who would be sought out (in lieu of the GP) for births, deaths and other times when knowledge of health and healing was required.  I feel this healing work has come to me transgenerationally.

My diverse skill set is drawn from my professional experience as a medical doctor (MBBS, BMedSci) in London working in general practice, gastrointestinal medicine, colorectal surgery and acute medicine. I ultimately specialised in psychiatry and psychotherapy where I practised in hospitals, community clinics and forensic and eating disorder services in the public and private sectors.  Through starting a family, this journey led me towards an empowered way of approaching health with holistic nutrition and lifestyle approaches, becoming less reliant on a western medicalised approach to our health.

More recently since moving to Australia in 2017, I have completed a Diploma of Ecotherapy and an Advanced Diploma of Nutrition. I also have formal experience in clinical hypnotherapy and hypnotherapy for child birth (HypnoBirthing), early childhood/development family day care and direct family experience of caring for a neurodivergent child...plus many personal and professional development courses.

*Please note I am not a registered medical practitioner in Australia, my current professional accreditation is with the ATMS.

Carly was very thorough when I went to my appointment. Her questions were very detailed which is important. She also gave me a great report which was easy to follow.
MC, age 70.
After a detailed interview, Carly provided me with a full written treatment plan which included recommended dietary and lifestyle changes and a supplement schedule. She also referred me for specific tests and further discussion with my GP. And she followed up by email with recommended reading. Carly is knowledgeable, caring and attentive, very approachable and responds quickly to email questions. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
BC, age 65.
Carly is incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition and how it relates to the overall health of the individual. She is attentive and caring and gives you a sense of direction with lifestyle goals, including what you need to eat more or less of. She can incorporate medical information into your lifestyle care so that you feel confident in what you are doing even if you have medical issue.
PB, age 71.
Having decided the path of a medical doctor, mainly treating sickness symptoms with patients is not for her, Carly’s commitment to working with her ‘clients' to find optimal health is unwavering. Apart from medicine, she has studied health more broadly, including the super important field of nutrition. Utilising her valuable ongoing learning and experience, Carly is encouraging me to explore greater wellness and vitality, and I am excited to discover new fundamentals and tweaks to boosting my life force. I highly recommend Carly for this task.

I am very grateful for the support and expertise provided by Carly. Her detailed observations and thoughtful recommendations were instrumental in addressing my daughter's focus, anxiety, and sleep issues. Her deep knowledge of neurodiversity and holistic health truly shone through, making her guidance both practical and insightful. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner.
SB, parent of a 7 year old daughter.
